1# I am almost convinced that Steve Harmon is innocent because there is nothing in the book that is making him guilty. Steve Harmon's life looks real miserable to me while hes on trial because he KNOWS hes innocent but he also knows that his family members KNOW he is guilty. It also sounds miserable in the book because he was cleaning the floors with 4 or 5 other guys and the floor was bubbling with dirt with foul smells. He was also about to throw up and the guard says if he throws up, the more he will have to clean up.
#2 I still think that this book is confusing because sometimes there are flashbacks that I think didn't end yet. It was also confusing for me to tell if it was the present or one of their flashback during court. I also don't get why there are pictures of him showing up occasionally in the book.
#3 Why do you think that person gave Steve Harmon a bible with a marked off phrase that says " The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him."?

#3 I think that his mom gave him the bible to show that she still has faith in him. I think that she gave it to him so that he has something to read, and also some people don't feel as alone when they know god's around. I think she marked that passage to tell him that god will protect him, if he worships god.
#3 I think that his mom gave him that bible with the marked out section. Because she was trying to say that she belived him and trusted him. And that she will be helped by him getting let out of jail.
3. I think that that person gave it to him because it shows true meaning to his life. Also that it shows compasion and feelings to his life. Also that it helps him see the truth in this.
3) I think his mom gave him the bible becuase to rember he had always had help and fo himself to believe that he could win this case. SHe also gave him the bible for comfort i guess because he has some thing good to read when he is scared.
